Shanghai City [Victoria, BC, Canada]
548 Fisgard St
Victoria, BC V8W 1R4
This second story restaurant was recommended by a local store owner across the street. On the main street in Chinatown, Victoria, BC, Canada, this dimly lit Chinese restaurant was way overpriced. Their food was mediocre, and the portions of the regular dishes were tiny.
Regrettably, the only good things were the soup and the speed of the service. The egg rolls reminded of of the vegetable egg rolls of Panda Express, and the noodles were dry and lacked any flavor. The calamari came deep fried with little flavor, and a tiny portion. Overall the bill came out to about $55.00 CAN. Averaging $7.00 a dish. Would you pay $7.00 for 2 egg rolls? or 3 Pot Stickers?
